§ 52.49. Liability for costs

Any owner, occupant, or person in control of premises who has received an order to comply pursuant to § 52.45 (A) or § 52.47 and who has failed to comply with the provisions of this chapter shall be liable for all costs and expenses paid or incurred by the city in abating the nuisance. These costs and expenses may be recovered in a civil action brought by the city, which shall also be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees therein.
